David EVANS, Project Inform, USA
David Evans has been an HIV treatment advocate and educator since 1991 when he joined the AIDS Coalition To Unleash Power (ACT UP), and is currently the Director of Research Advocacy for Project Inform, a non-profit HIV and viral hepatitis community-based information and advocacy organization. He co-developed one of the first HIV treatment educators certification programs in the United States in the mid-1990s, and has provided regular input to academic and industry researchers on HIV and hepatitis C clinical trial design. David is a member of the Delaney AIDS Research Enterprise community advisory board and the Department of Health and Human Services adult and adolescent antiretroviral treatment guidelines panel.
